Guess my daughter has picked up my awful habit of loving internet life. She just can't get enough of the computer. I found this website http://www.kneebouncers.com/ and its perfect for little ones, as you just touch the keys and things come to life. Here is a sample of her:

Ready for fall
In case you can't tell by my new background, I am so ready for fall. It's my favorite time of year! Some of my favorite things about fall:
1. The weather, obviously! Cool temperatures, nice for walking in.
2. Long sleeves and pants! I think fall/winter clothes are the coolest! And I love jackets!
3. Leaves changing colors makes it so pretty outside and the kids have piles of leaves to jump in!
4. Halloween! My favorite Holiday by far, I love pumpkins, apple cider, windmills spinning, visiting apple orchards, sleeping with the windows open, but bundled up in covers!
5. Curling up with a good book outside on the deck, smelling the fall air, and drinking hot tea or coffee.
Yes indeed, FALL is approaching. And if anyone pays attention to the ticker below my blog title, you will see one more reason I am excited for Fall. My Mother in Law is visiting from Ireland. We haven't seen her since Christmas and Victoria has changed so much since then. It will be lovely to see them together. And when she was here last year, school was on Winter Break, so she didn't get to see Maddy's classroom, something she will get to do this visit! Not to mention all the cute clothes she wil be bringing the girls...and she has the best taste ever!

A 2 in 1 post
Here is Victoria in her first pair of overalls, which look particularly adorable on her :) She also discovered mittens for the first time when we were cleaning out the closet yesterday and won't take them off. I won't complain though, since it is 66 degrees outside, so they are keeping her hands warm. She looks so darn cute with them!
She is such a girly girl. She loves dresses, shoes, hats, mittens, baby dolls and cell phones. 100% girl. And I love it!!!

Where I have been
I haven't been blogging much lately, as I have a really bad tooth in desperate need of extraction. So, I haven't really felt like typing much and am never sitting down long enough to type anything long. Victoria has been really really good this week with me being in pain. She keeps coming over and kissing me and sitting on my lap and reading to me. She has even given me her blanket to make me feel all better. What a little sweetie.
Maddy is doing really well her first week of school. She loves her teacher and classmates this year and I am hoping that keeps up. She goes back to her mom's tomorrow, and is excited about that.
Okay, off again. Gotta go lay down...meds getting to me.

Back to school
Just a quickie to say that Madelynn started 3rd grade today. I can't believe she is growing up so quickly. She had a half day and came home excited because the new kid in her class is a kid that was on her soccer team that we coached back before she started Kindergarten. She is happy he is at their school now. It was fun to see all her friends and she already has an assignment to do tonight. Busy!! Here is a picture of her after she got out of school. Her mom had her last night and dropped her off at school, and I picked her up.

Recap of labor day weekend
First of all...
This weekend was pretty fun. I wasn't online much which is why I haven't posted all weekend. Friday night Andrew went to his friends house to help him with some work, so it was just the girls and I. We went to the store and got the remainder of Madelynn's school supplies and then a friend called and we met her another friend at McDonald's for dinner and then went to the park. We stayed until bed time and came home. Saturday, Andrew has a computer party to go to (a LAN party, as he calls it) so again it was just us girls. He took the computer with him, and therefore, the girls and I were out all day. We went to the park, the mall, and then across the various stores, looking at Halloween Costumes, so the girls could have a look and see if anything grabbed their attention.
Victoria, most likely, will be this:
Madelynn is thinking something along the lines of a cat, but I am not sure if she will be with us for Halloween as she wants to go with her mom this year. So, her mom might end up making her a costume instead.
We had a fun day Saturday, and we were so busy, the girls were spent by the time we got home and both were fast asleep by 9pm and didn't get up until 9:30am yesterday!!! Then Maddy's mom came and got her so they could go camping together with her grandma. She will stay with her mom thru Tuesday morning, when she drops her off for her first day of school, and I will pick her up at 11:15am (half day for the first day). So yesterday, realizing that I never did get Victoria back on the school schedule (she has been sleeping in till 9 all summer, prompting a later bedtime) I decided to skip her nap. I was scared, and preparing myself to deal with a cranky toddler. It was quite the opposite. She was on the best behavior ever. No crying or whining in the car, no fussing in the stores, no trying to crawl out of her stroller. However, she didn't want to go to bed early either, so when I put her down at 8, she still didn't fall asleep till 9:30 and slept will 8:30 this morning. Tomorrow morning, she will have to get out of bed at 7:30 to take Daddy to work so we have the car to pick Maddy up. I am hoping she goes to bed tonight on time.
Today, we have nothing planned. I have to clean work, and I will do that during Victoria's nap, but aside from getting groceries on my way home, I don't think we will be leaving the house. We may go to the park this evening, so that Victoria can run some energy off and get some fresh air, hoping that will knock her out at bedtime. I really dislike waking her in the morning, but I don't have a choice now that school is back in session.
Anyway, that is a recap of our weekend. Hope everyone had a great one as well.
